BRAČ

The island of olive groves and natural phenomena Golden horn beach. Tennis championship and worldwide appreciated limestone quarries. The highest Croatian island, almost the biggest.

Being the highest of all islands with its 778m above the sea, from the peak Vidova gora the view goes in all directions, even to the furthest Croatian island Palagruža and Italy, on a clear day.

40kms in length and 12kms in average width, but the word is there is around 200kms of off-roads. Every day more and more because as you ride, you see pathways along the side which are not marked in the apps. Better, not everything has to be reachable and known, and most of land is privately owned. Those 200kms are forest, military, private pathways or ravines but also easily reachable pathways used for tourist purposes which offer spectacular views over the surrounding islands, places and heritage on the island.

Our day will be fulfilled just about enough to enjoy without getting tired. Exact measure to those not used to riding that much.

This tour will take you almost all over the island. The emphasis is on riding but you will see heritage sites such as Austrian bridge and medieval desert monastery, ex-Yugoslavian military ship tunnels, natural sites, Vidova gora peak and you’ll hit the famous road “that leads to nowhere”. We will make obligatory stop in Bol for a coffee. As in Bol town – with the famous Golden horn beach!

Small villages embedded in cliffs will make you feel time has stopped there and trails will relax your mind and shake your body!

To nicely wrap up this adventurous day, after we return to the office and leave motorcycles, we have a dinner waiting for us in a restaurant just above the beach – a welcome shot of rakija, traditional dish Peka and local wine!

  • We can accommodate most dietary restrictions, please note that in your booking form!
  • We offer additional motorcycle equipment for rent in our office: body armor, knee protectors, ADV boots for a price of 35 Euros per person!
  • After the return, there is a room to change clothes and a possibility of taking a shower in our office!

Itinerary

We meet at the office and after we inspect the bikes, do the paperwork and get you prepared for the tour, we ride for the ferry. It takes app 50 mins to get to Supetar where we disembark on our enduro journey. After a short road ride we hit the offroad ascending deep into the island. For most of the tour we will be riding we will be riding in between the drywals and olive groves. After a stop at the 18th century Austro-Hungarian bridge we continue for Milna where we can make a break. The following route takes to the south side of the island where we stop at an abandoned ex-yugoslavian warship tunnel, and next at the view to a unusual desert monastery on the island. That is where the only tricky part of the route is and the guide will be there to help you, if needed. Next is the top of the island after which we take the ˝road that leads to nowhere˝ to get to Bol. We make a break, maybe a jump into the sea (if it's swiming season) and have short ride on the curves on Brač island. We go deeper into the island and cross to its north side to approach the road to take us back to the ferry station. Simply put but very well designed route, for everyone's taste in enduro riding, sightseeing and having the experience of the island!

Motorcycle (with helmet and gloves). Gas. Food and drinks during the day. Any personal expenses. Tips.

Yes. We offer body armor, knee protectors and ADV boots in various sizes for rent. The price is 35 euros per person per day for a complete equipment.

One-day tours are designed for the pleasure of riding, sightseeing and some leisure time, dependable on the preferences of the riders. Duration of a one-day across the Brač island tour lasts for about 12 hours altogether with the ferries and dinner.

Mileage covered on one-day tours is a little over 120kms (app. 75 miles). We consider this mileage covered in a day enough to get to see around, enjoy the views, stop for a break or sightseeing and maybe for a short swim, if it is swimming season. From our experience, it is quite enough for a rider, not to tire both the rider and the motorcycle.

Renting a motorcycle within the tour ensures you get an ADV helmet, gloves and a case holder for your mobile placed on the steering to help you navigate around. In case you want more riding gear, you can rent body armour, knee protectors and ADV boots (35 euros per day) in our office.

A bottle of water, your rucksack (if you don’t have one, you can rent a soft bag in our office) with your personal belongings, spare clothes, break snacks, sunscream, sunglasses, towel and a bathing suit (if it's swimming season) and all the essentials you consider potentially necessary for you on this tour.
